Many employees with a diploma in higher education, eventually have a job they were not educated for.
Research amongst 273 employees show this result. Their current function was compared to their former study. It seemed that 1 in 3 employees has a current job that is not related to the study they followed. This effect seems to be more strong with men than women.
Studies as medicines, physiotherapy and farmacy have students who are working in the same field as their study. But studies such as history, cultural anthropology, astrology and literature are the fields in which students don’t seem to find work.
