Austrian students sues Facebook

The Austrian student Max Schrems received a document consisting of 1200 pages by mail delivery, after he had asked Facebook for his personal data from the past three years.

Personal information kept by facebook

The network Facebook knew so much about Max, that it scared him. Max filed a complaint against Facebook. Old chats, pictures, ‘pokes’ and so much more about Max were kept by Facebook. Max thinks that Facebook violates the privacy laws in Europe. That is why he sued the European headquarters of Facebook in Ireland.
