The end of HAN-magazine?

17-10-2011 @ 15:29:53 by Sensor

They were all flabbergasted, the people present at the editorial meeting of the HAN-magazine (not to be mistaken with Sensor!), the external magazine which functions as communication tool between the HAN and the business world.

Budget cuts?

The staff was brought together to discuss the newest edition of the magazine, but they also heard that the magazine is no longer within the budget of the department of Marketing Communication and Information.

Education and research

The head of this department Hans Brouwer: ‘We have to reconsider our priorities because we want to spend a big deal of the HAN’s budget on education and research.’

Not yet decided

The discussion which was caused afterwards, showed huge appreciation for the magazine and the request (towards faculty directors) to keep the magazine within the budget. Brouwer: ‘The HAN management team and the board of directors will make the final decision.’
