Student marries king

During the day she can be seen at school, during the evening she is sitting on the sofa in a gigantic palace. This is the life of a Bhutanese student at the moment. The twenty-one-year-old Jetsun Pema married the king of her country.

Old love

The couple is a real youth-romance, while they have known each other for fourteen years. The seventeen-year-old prince asked the seven-year-old girl to marry him when they first met, according to the stories in Bhutan. It was truly love at first sight.
