The University in Enschede has contacted the organization of the annual Batavierenrace (running contest for students) and warned them that approximately 8000 students could be infected with the legionella bacteria.

ProRail promises better information

ProRail will inform passengers better about work on the rail and at railway stations. ProRail therefore starts an advertisement campaign. The campaign is a test and passengers will be asked for feedback.
 

Warn passengers for trouble

At the moment, 1500 smaller and bigger projects are going on on the track, which possibly have consequences for the traffic. ProRail wants to create understanding for possible inconvenience and bring the passenger in to the fore. The NS (National Railways) also informs about activities on the track.
 

Special jelly, just in case

The advertisement campaign is unrelated to possible winter problems of falling leaves on the track. Although the trees still carry most of their leaves, ProRail applies a special jelly which makes the rails stronger, just in case…
