Pressure of work grows, according to HAN

11-10-2011 @ 10:34:37 by Sensor

Thirty per cent of the Dutch thinks that their pressure of work has been growing over the years. As a result, they have got less time for hobbies, their family and friends. A similar percentage of these Dutch people are less motivated than before. These were results from a research by the HAN.

Fit?

Only fifty-five per cent says to agree with the quote: ‘I feel fit’. HAN-lectureship Labour and Health investigated this feature. The research was the first step in the development of a questionnaire which should be used as a tool to indicate the disfunction and absence of employees.

Cynical

For this research, the lectureship asked 1790 Dutchmen who work at least two days a week. One in three participants is more cynical about the organization they work for, compared to earlier years. Less than half of all participants enjoys working again after the holidays and a quarter has difficulties to relax themselves.
