Dutch students have a lot of spare time

20-10-2011 @ 14:44:47 by Sensor

Sleeping late, hanging in the park, following a lesson now and then and drinking beer in the pub at night. Dutch students spend approximately six hours a day at obligatory things such as studying, but have the rest of the day off. And that is more spare time than any other European peers have.

Dutch only think they work hard

This was a result of research carried out by the Social and Cultural Office ‘Dutch people might think they are working hard, but the South-Europeans spend forty minutes longer on their work or study’, says the Office.

Hanging on the sofa

With approximately six hours of spare time a day, including the weekend, the Dutch have at least half an hour more spare time compared to other European countries. Dutchmen spend their time on social activities. The time resting, is spent on the sofa at home. The gym follows as second location. Sleeping, showering and eating takes, regardless the age of the Dutch, approximately 11 hours per day.
