The island which is being built in the Waal river in Nijmegen, won the international Waterfront Center Award 2011. The jury of this prestigious prize is enthusiastic about the combination of the high tide safety and area development, and the way in which the knowledge is shared with river cities in other countries.
Finished in 2016
