Drunkards in the streets
The admission was 5 pounds for the students, and beer was almost free. This attracted many people to the party. When the party was over, the streets of Warrington were full of drunk youngster.
Reactions
The reactions in England were fierce. Opponents called it an example of irresponsible behavior. Even students’ unions didn’t approve of this binge-drinking.
