HAN-keeper sold to Ajax

09-09-2011 @ 13:23:58 by Sensor

Right before the weekend, Jasper Cillessen heard his club NEC (Nijmegen) had sold him to Ajax. The HAN-student is moving straight away to the football capital of the Netherlands.

Competing with Kenenth Vermeer

Cillessen, who is getting less and less time for his study at the HAN to become sports teacher, is competing with Kenneth Vermeer at Ajax. ‘I expect a good cooperation, so that we can challenge each other. But he did an extremely good job during the match against Vitesse. May the best player win’, Cillessen says.

Ajax - Real Madrid

Next month, the first highlight will be there for Cillessen: ‘Ajax will compete with Real Madrid in the Champions League. One year ago, I wanted to play in the Goffert soccer stadium in Nijmegen. But in five weeks time I will be playing in Bernabeu in front of 80,000 people watching the match!’

The match Real Madrid - Ajax will be held on Tuesday 27 September at 20.45 pm. We wish Jasper all the best!
