At least 30,000 students are forced to live with their parents. That is a group of 10,000 more students compared to last year.
Graduated before getting a room
This is a result of the Student Accommodation Shortage Research 2011, carried out by the National Students’ Union. Chairman Pascal ten Have is describing the situation: ‘A student who wants to do a master in Utrecht, is more likely to get his diploma before getting a room in the city.’ The Students’ Union will soon present the results of the research to the politics.
