It is never too late to get educated. That is what the 78-year-old Apostol Stajanov must have thought when he enrolled himself as a pupil at a primary school.

Stojanov lives by himself in the village Popovtsi in the Balkanmountains and can hardly get by, but wants his dream to come true. The man seems to be a natural talent: he has yet written his first letter. Rumour has it that the man wants to do a foreign study once he has graduated….
