Tough walk for charity

06-07-2011 @ 14:25:16 by Marijn Hondorp

The HAN has a lot of tough people walking around. Kristal Baele, Jan Pel, Rien van Domburgh and Rian van den Hout walked and walked and walked even more. All for the charity Oxfam Novib Trail-walker.

Money for Myanmar

The Trailwalker went straight through national wildlife areas such as the Veluwe, but also through forests, sand drifts and moors. The route was 100 kilometers long. The purpose of this Trailwalk was to raise money for educational projects in Myanmar. The 114 teams which participated, amongst which the team of Krisel, Jan, Rien and Rian, were sponsored. In the end, the total amount of 500,000 Euros was raised.

Final conclusion...

The four had a fantastic but heavy weekend and are happy with the raised money. Their comment:
‘pfffffffffffffff’.
