Again, the students’ satisfaction at the HAN has risen. The results of the National Students Inquiry showed a rise in grades, up to an average 8.4 as the satisfaction-grade.
Not enough
Chairman of the Board of Governors Ron Bormans is happy but not yet satisfied. ‘It is the third or fourth year we are witnessing a rise is the contentment of our students. That is lovely! But we have to remain ambitious; there are still new steps to take within several fields’.
Pedagogy best riser
Bormans: ‘For example within communication. Also, the timetables have been improved, but it can still get much better.’ The course which has improved according to its contentment grade, which was a 6.3 and is now a 8.4, is Pedagogy. Other improvers are Physiotherapy, Industrial Product Design and the Teacher Training Courses of Biology and Chemistry.
