Look at the picture. The boats in the back are symbolizing the starting employees who graduated from university, while the boats in the front represent the starting ex-college students. There is a big differ-ence between the take-off salaries of both groups: 600 Euros

Shorter working weeks

Academics (graduated from university) earn on average 600 Euros more than college students. But the college students work two hours less during a working week. These were the results of a research carried out by Elsevier. The average salary of an academic is 2,650 Euros per 36 hour-week, and college students earn 2000 Euros for the same week.

There is no business like teeth business

Starting dentists earn traditionally most. Their salary starts at 5,500 Euros per month, and moreover, their working week represents approximately only 25 hours. So now you know what to do if you fancy that boat...
