Caterer Albron leaves HAN

27-06-2011 @ 10:26:01 by Marijn Hondorp

From this study year on, the HAN has yet only two caterers. In almost all premises of the Han, caterer 'Cormet' provides our students food. Except for the faculty of Technology, which is taken care of by caterer 'Van Roekel'. 'Albron', which was the caterer of many canteens during the last year, has totally disappeared at the HAN.

Disappointing return

After negotiations, the cooperation has been ended. The return of this caterer was very disappointing. People were less satisfied with the canteens of Albron, compared to the canteens of Cormet, because of the prices of the luxury supply. This even caused protest actions by individual students.

Reasonable prices?

The employees of Albron were given the opportunity to step over to Cormet. But a thing which will change, are the prices. Cormet will be cheaper on average. The basis supply will remain the same as well: coffee, tea, bread rolls, ham, cheese and stuff like that! The fixed prices will be determined by the caterer, in negotiation with Facility Services.
