The best young entrepreneurs of two eastern provinces in Holland battled for the title Best student company of Gelderland and Overijssel. Vinyl Fantasy was chosen as this year’s winner.
The contest, called Market Day, was held at Kronenburg, a shopping centre in Arnhem-South. The HANstudents of Vinyl Fantasy, who design products like clocks and platters out of used vinyl music albums, are now through to the national semi-finals. The jury said that this company puts the customer first and makes sustainable products that both look nice and are well-designed.
In the contest at the shopping centre, the student companies were judged on a stand presentation and a jury interview. The Market Day and the district final are recurring subjects during the Student company project. Guided by professionals, students start their own real-life company, This is the best way to experience what it’s like to be an entrepreneur.
