It seems like students in Nijmegen live a good life. A bit too good, maybe. Why? It looks like there is so much to get in students’ houses, that they make an easy target for burglars. One sixth of all housebreakings in Nijmegen happens in students’ residences and complexes, the police concludes.
Students’ residences are often the target of burglars. How often is not known. Results of tests make clear that the students houses are not well-protected against burglars. The police: ‘During the summer, windows and doors are not properly locked and the locks themselves are weak.’
