Shame on you! You forgot to check out!

11-05-2011 @ 12:46:56 by Marijn Hondorp

Especially students often forget to check out with their public transport pass. These were the statistics of the NS (National Railway Company).

Forgetful students

Almost five per cent of the students forgets to check out with their public transport pass while getting out of the bus. That is twice the percentage of students forgetting to check out when travelling by train.

Students feel no need

People who regularly travel by train, almost never forget to check out. Only 0.5 per cent doesn’t think about it. The NS thinks that the percentage of students is bigger because students don’t necessarily need to check in or out on the train, except for the weekends.

Campaign

The NS will soon come up with a new campaign to remind students to check out! So you will be warned, you forgetful students!
