HAN does a lot of miles/km

Team HAN Hydromotive finished the Shell Eco-marathon, a match for economical vehicles, with a good result. With their economical hydrogen vehicle, the team drove ten times more economical than a regular electrical car. ‘We put up a good performance. We ended third in our category.’

3,688 km/liter

Students of the University of Den Hague built the most economical vehicle of Europe. Team La Joli-verie from France stood out as the winner with the prototype with internal combustion engine. This team drove with their self-designed vehicle extremely well, 3688 kilometers per liter petrol. To drive as economical as possible, was the big challenge for 183 students teams from all over Europe.

Rotterdam 2012

There were 11 Dutch teams participating, amongst which the HAN Hydromotive team. They finished third, and can’t wait to participate to next year’s match in Rotterdam. To prepare for that match, the HAN team will think of even more sustainable and economical designs.
