The combination team of the HAN and the Radboud University has not managed to win the Batavierenrace for the second time in a row. For a long time, it looked like this team would win again, but eventually it had a shortage of 36 seconds.
The thirty-ninth edition of the Batavieren race was held Friday night. The Batavieren race is the annual students’ running race between Nijmegen and Enschede. After the night, the HAN-RU team came third, during the morning they climbed up to the second place.
The midday-runners tried hard to compensate the distance arrears with the number one, but unfortunately they failed. Eventually, the combi-team finished fourth.
