Chinese students are really interested in studying in our small country. This year, approximately 2000 students from China follow courses at Dutch Universities. Also, another 1000 Chinese scientists and Ph D students are active in Holland. These were the results of a research from the Volkskrant-newspaper.
Especially the technology and economics studies are popular amongst Chinese students. That is why many students follow courses at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and the University of Technology in Delft and Eindhoven. Chinese scientists are especially situated in the Philips-city (Eindhoven).
China, on the other hand, is not popular at all amongst Dutch students. Only a few Dutch students go to China each year, to do a course.
