Research drinking habits students

11-01-2011 @ 12:46:38 by Marijn Hondorp

Over 900 students from everywhere in the country participate in a big and long term research, executed by the Radboud University. The research is to investigate the development of alcohol consumption amongst students.

'What do you think about alcohol'?

The researchers selected the 900 students out of 5000 announcements. (It seems like many students fancy such a research) From January 2010 on, the students will have to answer questions about their consumption of alcohol and their attitude towards alcohol, for half a year long. They get questions every week, with a total of 30 times. The research is part of a bigger study for health research, with the purpose to reduce the consumption of alcohol amongst youngsters.

Alcohol addict?

Because the students give their opinion and answer questions every week, the researchers will have very detailed information afterwards. They can draw conclusions about how much alcohol students drink, and under which circumstances. The research collides which researches on how addicts origin and develop.

You'll be warned, ye drunk students ;)
