Santa ...uh...Sinterklaas

Not Santaclaus, but his typical Dutch counterpart Sinterklaas, visited the international Life Sciences students in their building at the HAN campus in Nijmegen.

For many students from abroad it was their first meeting with the Spanish-Dutch legend. To introduce himself the Good Holy Man had one of his servants (Black Pete) prepare a power point presentation and gather some funny YouTube films. The students on their turn had practised a number of Dutch Sinterklaas songs (‘see de mawn skaint door de bowmen’), under the expert guidance of their Dutch language teacher Ineke de Kort. There were spice nuts, a South African student joker and presents for all the students.
