Sustainability Day
On 11 November, the HAN will be active during the Day of Sustainability. At both campuses, many sustainable activities will take place. Amongst others there will be environment-friendly cars, garbage games, speeches and a real fashion show.
More activities
This particular day will be full of activities: an electrical car-caravan, the disclosure of an electrical charger-pole, Teacher Training College-students reading a sustainable story of Princess Laurentien, de study of Logistics and Economy receives two sustainability stars, the caterer supplies Fair-trade food and in the Diabolo-stores at both campuses sustainable products are for sale.
Fasion show
Fashion is often produced under socially and environmentally damaging circumstances. In coopera-tion with Awaerness Fair Fashion en Artez, the HAN wants to make the people aware of this dark side of fashion, and show sustainable alternatives. The model at the picture above is wearing sustainable clothing, standing near the Burton EV1, the most sustainable car ever which was designed by HAN-automotive.
