A skating instruction formed an important part of the Day of the International Student, earlier this month at the World Forum in The Hague.

Day of the international student

A little unstable at first, but almost gracious after some time, the participants in the skating workshop moved across the ice. Skating not only trains your body, but also strengthens your concentration abilities. Some two thousand international students took part in the Day of the International Student, which is organized every year by Nuffic, the Dutch Organization for International Cooperation in higher education. The Dutch Universities, including those for Applied Sciences, offer about 2000 English courses to some 70.000 students. The length of the courses varies from a couple of weeks to full bachelor and master courses.
