Stalker looking for female students in Nijmegen

30-09-2010 @ 15:06:23 by Marijn Hondorp

The police in Nijmegen is looking for a stalker. This young man poses to be a surveyor. He gives the impression that he is a homosexual, but this is only a way to try and get close to unaware female students in Nijmegen. The identity has not been established, but the police is obviously working hard to find out who he is.

'Michael'

About two and a half years ago this man made his first appearance. He then disappeared for a while, but has now returned. The young man, who gives off an innocent impression, tries to obtain personal information from young women by asking questions for a survey about fashion. He is often seen near the campus in Nijmegen. The man starts off by asking harmless questions and promises the girls money and coupons if they cooperate. But soon the questions get more personal and he is aiming for their phone numbers. Later on those girls are harassed by phone and receive very inappropriate messages. The impostor, who calls himself ‘Michael’, tries to make dates and lures his victims to clubs. He even went to see one of the girls in the middle of the night, and threatened her.
If you have been, or are being approached by this man, don’t hesitate to contact the police or alarm your school.

Desciption

The man calls himself ‘Michael’, height: 1,60-1,65 meters (5”2-5”4 feet), light skin color (probably Indonesian) small posture, big lips, often wears sunglasses, appears smooth and pretends to be homosexual.

Call the police

When you have been approached by this man, please contact the police. When this happened at the university or HAN, it is also important to warn the guards at the premises.
