In the picture for charity!
Do you want to have yourself professionally photographed after your face is done with make-up? You can! For only fifteen Euros. It is a great chance to get yourself a set of ten photos, for just a small sum of money. The only thing you have to do is give report of your wish to Iris Stakenburg, bring along fifteen Euros and make sure you're at the Pabo Groenewoud in Nijmegen on 6 October between 09.00 am and 05.00 pm. And did you know that you are supporting a charity?
Sponsorship for Ethiopia
Iris Stakenburg is student of Teacher Training Course (Pabo Groenewoud). In October, she is going to Ethiopia for twelve days, with Dutch charity organization Edukans. There, she will visit the Teacher Training Course and she will teach at primary schools. The purpose is, before she leaves, to collect thousand Euros as sponsorship. Therefore, she thought of the photo shoot. She searched and found Jaley Photography. Photographer Jeroen finds her action very kind and he will take the photographs for free.
Dutch delegation
Iris is not the only one who goes to Ethiopia. Together with her, tens of other Dutch students go. Amongst them are Karin Baars and Nadia Verhoeven, also students PABO. Edukans makes a programme for the students. Travelling expenses and accommodation costs are for the students themselves. At the spot, they meet an Ethiopian buddy, with whom they will teach lessons at primary schools.
