First international master at HAN

Students of the Art Therapy studies who want to study further after their bachelor, could only do a scientific master in Holland, until now. A Higher Vocational Education master didn’t exist yet. That will change in September, because the HAN together with the Fachhochschule in Freiburg and the University of Heidelberg are developing an international master for Art Therapy.
Competent
Within this English-language master, students can go two directions with their section. They can broaden their methodology, but they can also head for other fields. And they can become competent in management and coaching.
HAN first to take the challenge
The study has already been acknowledged in Germany, and the procedure has also started in Holland. If the study is acknowledged here, the chance exists that it will become a fund study. The study will be offered in three different places, which causes the students to follow courses by turns in Nijmegen, Freiburg and Heidelberg-Berlin. Initiator and developer of the master study is Johannes Junker. That the HAN has started the first real Joint Agreement in the European Higher Education, isn’t any wonder, he thinks. ‘The HAN-study is one of the biggest and strongest, in this field. Educational chef Egbert Hulshof is in the directing board of an international consortium and we are real partners.’
