Students HAN win Twinfield Business Award

A group of first-year-students of the education of International Business and Management Studies won the finale of the Twinfield Business Plan Award on 24 February. Winner CookU towered above everyone else clearly, with a well-usable business plan and proper, convincing arguments.
CookU
The winner of this year, CookU, presented a business plan in which cooking is accessible for everybody. Their idea is a digital cookbook, in the shape of a digital photo frame. With this, inexperienced cooks can see simple, healthy recipes with little videos. Besides this, they introduced an application with which you can create different recipes by putting in a few ingredients. The students of CookU rose clearly above the rest with their practical business plan and convincing presentation.
Assessment
The jury judged on different aspects: originality, presentation, practicability, marketing strategy and financial base. The Twinfield Business Plan Award has come into existence as an initiative of the HAN and Twinfield, an international web service for online accountancy.
Student Companies
The award has a clear connection with the project HAN Student Companies. Enterprising students get the chance to built up their own company inside the HAN. For one year long they run their own business with background support of a teacher, a tutor and an accountant from business life to get useful advice from.
