Higher Educational- starters salaries: managers make most money

15-12-2009 @ 14:59:31 by Sensor

Who ever chooses for the big money, had better choose for the study International Business & Management. Even in times of crisis, starting managers earn best, compared to all other higher educational students. The Institute of Maastricht did research into salaries of starting employees who  graduated in 2007.

High salaries

In business, big money can still be made. During springtime this year, graduated International Business & Management students even had the highest salary of all others: 2655 euro gross, with a fulltime job. The salary of starters with a diploma Accountancy & Fiscal Economy or Business Management is also high, about 2300 Euros. Within business, only the salary of starting facility managers was a bit disappointing: 1964 Euros a month. |

Technology’s salary

The second and fourth in the list are the information scientists and mechanical engineers, with a salary of respectively 2380 and 2363 Euros. Also other technicians earn well: starters with a diploma Civil Engineering or Electro Technology earn more than 2200 Euros a month and also the salary of structural engineers isn’t bad (2089), although job opportunities are rare.

No fortunes within the arts

At the bottom of the list are the ones with an artistic education. Of all starters, the musicians earn least; only 1446 Euros. Also those graduated in Creative Therapy, dancers, actors and artists have to do with less than 1700 Euros a month.

Many job opportunities within nursing

Nurses earn a bit more (1735 Euros) and also have more chance to get a job: their job opportunities are even the best within the higher educational studies. Who wants to work within nursing and earn much money, has to chose a medical-technical study (2119 Euros a month). Or has to choose the study dentistry: 2376 Euros a month.
