Memorable Milestone

Just like a mayor gets his chain of office round his neck, director René Tönissen received the ‘chain of institute’ of Built Environment. The reason for this was the counting of students on the first of October, whereby the BE institute passed one thousand students.
Celebrating with pie
A growth of sixty students, compared to last year. Tönissen: ‘A memorable milestone, which we celebrated with a pie’. The development of the institute is caused by an amount of new successful dual courses and well-designed part-time variants. ‘We have 200 working students within out institute’, he says proudly. He also has wishes for the future, but not about a growth. ‘If we stabilize our institute at this level, I will be very contented. It will already get difficult because Technical studies are always cyclically sensitive.’
