Art and Culture co-ordinator

When Danny Eissing has graduated from Teacher Training Primary Education (PABO), he can get a job as teacher in primary education. Preferably doing an extra job, as Art and Culture co-ordinator.
Twenty-five HAN-students received an ICC-certificate
That is possible: Danny is one of the twenty-five HAN-students who received an ICC-certificate last month. With this certificate, Danny is a qualified Internal Culture co-ordinator; somebody who has knowledge of culture-policy and educational possibilities.
Minor
This certificate can be achieved via refresher courses, but Danny first did the minor in this field. He did his work placement for his minor at a primary school. He participated in an investigation about art and culture in education and cooperated in the design of a lesson programme with the theme thrilling.
The distribution of the certificate is larded with two pupils who daringly combine the saxophone with the bagpipe. In the meantime the qualified will enjoy the drinks. These are not all students of the Teacher Training Primary Education (PABO) in this minor. ICA-student Lieske Bakker designed the scholar-environment from this minor. She finds History of Art a nice addition to her study Communication and Multimedia-design.
Nudity in museum
Monika Siegfried studies Cultural and Social Studies. During her work placement at the Kröller Müller museum she designed an interactive guided tour for children from Islamic and Reformed primary schools. ‘These pupils rarely visit a museum; the nudity which can be seen does not fit in with their religion. I thought of a special route for them. The children were so enthusiastic about the museum. They would like to live here or work here, they said. Anyway, they wanted to come back.’
