Protest against cancer
HAN-employee Petra Selter cycles the Alpe d’Huez in June this year, as resistance to cancer. This action is a result of the death of Martine, her friends’ daughter.

The day before

Petra Selter works at the HAN for Marketing and Communication. She will climb the Alpe d’Huez on 6 June, the day before Alpe d’HuZes, the day on which people climb the mountain six times. Petra climbs the mountain once.

Martine

Petra and her team cycle for Martine, her friends’ daughter. She had cancer and died on Christmas Day. Martine wanted to cycle the Alpe d’Huez herself with the team. In next Sensor there will be an interview with Petra about her plans and Martine.
