Stephen is teacher at the Teacher Training Programme for Primary Education and has his lounge full with singles, books, picture discs, posters, buttons, displays and other items of ABBA. And his collection gets bigger and bigger.

They still exist, the die-hard fans who have their house full with pictures, cups, puzzles, mirrors, scarfs and other items… Teacher Stephan Verhees is this kind of guy.
Anni-Frid
On a wall is Stephan’s house, next to loads of posters of the group, hangs a picture of him and Anni-Frid, a female singer of the band. Such a personal picture couldn’t be missing.
Collecting is a sport
In the meantime, the collecting has become a sport. ‘These days, through internet, you can collect the whole world, especially via sites as eBay and Tradera. I watch those sites regularly. You can enter certain search options and as soon as they are offered, you get an e-mail. I just bought ten ABBA-LP’s out of Taiwan.’
